Sacred Valley & Lares Hot Springs

• I'll pick you up at 8 pm from your hotel a few kilometers outside of Cusco we make the first stop at the Inca ruins of Pukapukara and Tampomachay. Then it goes into the Sacred Valley to Pisac with its famous (tourist) market, on Sundays and Tuesdays and Thursdays. On a narrow ledge high above the town included the ancient Inca fortress of Pisac with remains of temples and palaces, the entire complex covers several square kilometers. After the tour we drive along the Rio Urubamba to Calca, from there through a picturesque side valley to a pass of about 4500 meters and then back down to Lares.

• There you can relax in the hot springs or explore the beautiful surroundings. In Lares, we spend the night in a simple hostel, in the morning we return again to the Valle Sagrado. There we visit first the impressive ruins of Ollantaytambo, also the adjacent village with many over 500 years old stone houses is well worth a visit. After that we visit the salt terraces of Pichingoto and then we go to Moray a former agricultural center of the Incas. The last stop on the way back to Cusco we make in Chinchero, an ancient village with a beautiful colonial church and some well restored Inca ruins.
