Inca Quarry And Inti Punku Trek

• The trail is uphill, the first sight we reach is the Inca quarry, from where the Incas transported the stone blocks to Ollantaytabo Inca site. During the trek there are views of the Urubamba Valley, the higher we are the more spectacular they are and when there are no clouds you can see the snow-capped Mount Verónica (5700m). Casi todo el camino va cuesta arriba hasta Inti Punku. El primer atractivo que alcanzaremos será la cantera inca, desde donde los incas llevaron los bloques de piedra a lo que hoy es el centro arqueológico de Ollantaytambo, allí todavía se pueden ver bloques,  tallados en parte, que nunca llegaron al sitio inca. Cuanto más alto esté uno durante la caminata  las vistas serán más espectaculares y si no hay nubes se verá el nevado Verónica (5700 m).
