Day 1 / Sacred Valley

• At 08:00 clock in the morning I'll pick you up at your hotel and we make our way towards the Sacred Valley. On small roads passing idyllic lagoons, we go for our first stop in Chinchero

Here you will find a charming little village with a colonial church and well preserved Inca sites and a typical market for local arts and crafts. On dusty roads we drive through nice little villages to a picturesque church near Maras and on to Moray, a former agricultural center of the Incas. Then we visit the beautiful salt terraces of Pichingoto, salt is mined here for several hundred years in the same way. From here it is only a little way to the sacred valley to Urubamba, where we take a lunch break.
Fully refreshed we continue down the valley to the impressive Inca complex of Ollantaytambo. The Inca fortress perched like an eagle's nest in a strategic position overlooking the valley. Here you have the time to visit the entire complex.

• At 4:15 pmUhr fährt der Zug vom Bahnhof Ollantaytambo nach Aguas Calientes welches Sie um ca. 18:00 Uhr erreichen.
After moving into your hotel there is the possibility to relax in the hot springs.

Day 2 / Machu Picchu

It is recommended to get up early in the morning to arrive at Machu Picchu for sunrise. You can go up by bus (not included) or on foot. The ascent on foot takes about 1 ½ hours. If you wish to make a guided tour, this will take about 2 hours, after that you can explore this unique facility on your own.

At 4 pm. the train leaves from Aguas Calientes back to Cusco / Poroy, arriving at about 7:40 pm. At the station above Cusco we expect you and drive you back to your hotel.
