Then continue the hike until we reach the village of Patacancha (3650 m.a.s.l.) where the transport will be waiting for us to take us to the Community of Huilloc for lunch (pachamanca). At km 104 we get off the train, this is where the hike begins. The path goes up the mountain slope. We will see orchids, waterfalls, birds, maybe hummingbirds and butterflies. We will also have impressive views of the Urubamba Canyon. After this climb we reach Wiñay Huayna, one of the most beautiful Inca sites. From here the trail is relatively flat for about 45 minutes and then steep again to Inti Punku (2720 m.a.s.l.), the place from which, when there is no fog, we see Machu Picchu from afar for the first time.
